Sutherland Designed Dinner Service - Presentation - 18th January 2011
As part of the HORIZON series
of talks, Andrew Renton Head of Applied Art, National Museum
Wales, will spoke on the subject of 'Ceramic Design in the 1930s
- Sutherland and his contemporaries.'
This talk was followed by a formal presentation of the Graham
Sutherland Dinner Service. This was being gifted by The Friends
to the National Museum Wales. Andrew Renton then gave a few
extra thoughts on this dinner service.
Also present was the Chairman of the Trustees of the National
Museum, Paul Loveluck, who said a few words about the importance
of the gift.
